Document Description
The project will remove accumulated sediment from a concrete road crossing of the Santa Ynez River and from upstream and downstream of the river. Sediment has accumulated from post fire flows and have obscured the road edges and created a situation where sensitive wildlife species are at risk of harm from traffic. The project will allow safe passage by the public and Forest Service and also reduce the likelihood of impacts to CA red-legged frog, two-striped garter snake, and southwestern pond turtle.
