Document Description
The Metropolitan Water District of SOuthern California is amending its existing agricultural lease agreements with Cox and Wegis Land Company, LLC, Joseph Albert Deconick, Hayday Farms Venture, LLC and River Valley Ranches. The amended leases will include an alternative rental payment structure based on crops that the lessees grows. Pursuant to the amendments to the rent provisions, the amended annual rent owed would depend on the percentage of acreage planted in alfalfa or other combinations of high-water using seasonal crops.
