Document Description
The proposed project is to deliver up to 5,250 acre-feet of VCVWPD's approved 2018 SWP Table A water (2018 Table A Water) to SGPWA by December 31, 2018. This amount will be proportioned between two of VCWPD's memer agencies, City of Buenaventura (ventura) and casitas Municipal Water District (Casitas). Up to 3,500 acre-feet shall come from Ventura and up to 1,750 acre-feet shall come from Casitas.
In exchange, SFGPWA will return to VCWPD for Ventura and Casitas, based on an unbalanced exchange ratio of 2.5 to 1, up to 2,500 acre-feet of its future approved SWP table A water. That is, for every acre-foot of either Ventura's and/or Casitas's 2018 Table A water delivered to SGPWA, 40 percent of that amount will be returned to the appropriate member agency.
