Document Description
This project will plan and perform strategic fuels reduction of roadside vegetation for public safety, creating up to 32.5 acres of shaded fuel break along seven roads. The objective of the treatment is to reduce surface and ladder fuels to achieve canopy spacing to mitigate the threat of wildlife to private property, and to provide safe ingress of fire equipment and egress of evacuees. The roads targeted for the roadside fuel hazard reduction program serve as primary evacuation routes in the event of a wildfire.
