- The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2017-0561-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of Fish and Game Code to Frank Demling, representing California Department of Transportation. The project seeks to minimize the potential exposure to elevated lead levels present within soils at the site. Existing road surfaces and the vivinity of a residence will be treated for this project. Treated areas will be covered with geotextile fabric, which will then be covered by a minimum of six inches of gravel. This treatment will remain in place during bridge construction, and will be removed as part of this bridge replacement project. This project will not expand the footprint of disturbance.
