Document Description
Terracon requests encroachment permission from DWR to conduct geotechnical soil sampling for a future expansion of a highpower line in the DWR right-of-way. Samples will be collected using a drill rig. One borehole will be drilled at an appropriate location within an area 100 feet upstream and downstream from Check 12 and between the Aqueduct and fence marking the extent of the DWR ROW. The exact location of the boring will be determined by Terracon personalle, but will avoidany sensitive environmental resources. Soil samples will be extracted every 5 feet during drilling. Once the samples have been collected, the borehole will be backfilled per drilling specifications. Terracon will benefit.
