Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0166-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the California Department of Transportation as represented by Jeskrn Pradda. The Project is limited to mechanical and electrical repairs on the Old River Bridge (Bridge No. 29-0045). Mechanical and electrical components of the moveable bridge include the bridge structure, bridge deck, control house, swing span and bridge piers. Replacing electrical components will require in-water work within Old River to replace three (3) submarine electrical cables. The anticipated time to lay submarine cables is two days of in water work. The proposed Project will also require minor roadway work to replace k-rails, installation of a valley gutter for roadside drainage and a retention ditch.
