Document Description
Svendsen's Bay Marine, Inc. the project applicant, is proposing to develop and operate a boat yard on a 3.96-acre parcel located at the northern end of Santa Fe Channel, on the city of Richmond's southern shoreline along SF Bay. Primarily intended for boat repair, the proposed project would include construction of seven floating piers anchored on concrete piles, waterfront promenade walkways, one-story chandlery building, and landscaped parking lot. In addition to providing retail sales of marine parts, equipment, and products, the chandlery building would house admin functions, a parts warehouse, and boat repair shop. The proposed boat yard would employ 12 people, including 8 office workers, two chandlery employees, and two shop repair personnel.
