Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2016-0137-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Jon Munger/Garden Highway Mutual Water Company. The Project will improve the existing Garden Highway Mutual Water Company pump station intake on the Feather River, to prevent fish entrainment. The fish screen would comprise two screen units that would seal a new, common pump wet well that enclosed the existing three intake pumps. Each screen unit would have two 54-inch diameter by 72-inch long wedge wire cylinders. Each fish screen unit will be mounted on a separate track to allow it to be raised independently during on-diversion periods for inspection. A floating boom deflector system would be installed at the opening to the pump intake channel to exclude fish from the channel and guide them past its mouth. The book is approximately 300 feet long and would run parallel to the main river currents
