Document Description
The Project consists of replacing the existing 94-foot long, 36-inch diameter corrugated metal pipe (CMP) culvert crossing State Route 4 with a new 91-foot long 48-inch diameter reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) culvert. Work will include removal of roadway, 2,200 cubic yards of roadway fill, and the existing CMP culvert. The excavation will be lined with 5 cubic yards of clean gravel with the new pre-cast RCP culvert placed on the gravel bed. The excavation will then be backfilled with approximately 80 cubic yards of concrete slurry, followed by approximately 1,440 cubic yards of previously excavated roadway fill.
