Document Description
The project is designed tor mediate and prevent exposure to volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and metals that are above screening levels in soil, groundwater and soil vapor. The selected alternative includes: in-site groundwater treatment and soil vapor extraction (SVE); focused soil excavation in the Lot 3 Subarea (excavation of approximately 7,900 cubic yards); installation of a cap; monitored natural attenuation of groundwater; monitoring and maintenance; and institutional controls. The recommended cleanup alternative is designed to protect people and the environment.
