The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and
Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0400-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Family Water Alliance, Inc.
The proposed project includes installation of a retractable and self-cleaning fish screen system at the Butte Creek Diversion 55 (BC55) Site. BC55 is privately owned gravity diversion located within the CDFW Butte Creek Canyon Ecological Reserve, located NE of SR99 and SE of the City of Chico.
