Amendment #1 changes the mitigation of the temporary riparian impacts from on-site to an off-site location at Crescent Mills Mitigation Area due to the Project Applicant’s inability to mitigate on-site. In addition, the temporary riparian impacts are changed to permanent riparian impacts to be mitigated at a 2:1 ratio.

Nineteen projects are located along State Route (SR) 70 in Plumas County on perennial, intermittent and ephemeral tributaries to the North Fork Feather River and East Branch North Fork Feather River. The projects extend between post miles 0.40 and 30.80 on SR 70 from 0.3 mile west of Grizzly Creek to 2.2 miles west of State Route 89, approximately 35 miles northeast of the city of Oroville.
