A site approval application for the expansion of an existing poultry egg farm in 6 phases over 9 years to include an increase from 300,000 birds to 700,000 birds. Phase 1 includes the addition of 100,000 birds and the demolition of 71,520 sf of buildings. Phase 2, to be completed in 3 years, includes the addition of 100,000 birds and the construction of a 33,100 sf compost barn. Phase 3, to be completed in 5 years, includes the addition of 100,000 birds and the construction of a 55,000 sf layer house. Phase 4, to be completed in 7 years, includes the addition of 100,000 birds and the construction of a 55,500 sf layer house. Phase 5, to be completed in 8 years, includes the addition of 100,000 birds and the construction of a 55,500 sf layer house. Phase 6, to be completed in 9 years, includes the infill of the existing pond, the construction of a 2,775 sf packing and cold storage building, and the addition of 3 manure drying tunnels to existing layer houses. Each manure drying tunnel to contain 15,500 sf.
