Document Description
The Sanitation Districts of Los Angeles County has petitioned the State Water Resources Control Board, Division of Water Rights to change the place of use, purpose of use, and quanity of discharge of treated wastewater currently discharged to the Rio Hondo and San Gabriel River. The Sanitation District's petition is for the Whittier Narrows Water Reclamation Diversion Project, which involves providing tertiary treatment of wastewater at teh WNWRP and making the treated water available for beneficial uses in the San Gabriel Valley Water Company's service area within the Upper San Gabriel River watershed.
