- The project includes installation of a new water pipeline within the existing county of San Luis Obispo ROW to provide supply redundancy to existing customers. The new pipeline will connect to the existing Nipomo CSD distribution system and terminate at GSWC's El Campo Reservoirs, where high nitrate well water will be blended down into the Cypress Ridge Water System to provide supply redundancy to existing GSWC customers. Approx 10,400 ft of 8-in transmission pipeline would be installed within the county ROW using an open trench method. The trench would be approx 3 ft wide by 5 ft, running approx 2 mi from 650 West El Campo Rd to 1789 Lyn Rd in unincorporated San Luis Obispo County near the community of Nipomo.
