- The Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts (Sanitation Districts) own and operate the Los Coyotes WRP, a wastewater treatment facility in the City of Cerritos. The Los Coyotes WRP has one discharge point: LC001 which discharges to the San Gabriel River. On June 14, 2019, Sanitation Districts filed a wastewater change petition to reduce flow to the San Gabriel River and change the place of use and purpose of use of the treated wastewater.
