Reasons for Exemption
The project will not result in a change in any of the physical conditions (land, air, water, minerals, flora, fauna, ambient noise, and objects of historic or aesthetic significance) within the area affected by the project. Therefore, DTSC finds with certainty that there is not a possibility the activities in question will result in a significant environmental effect. The permit renewal for HWF will not alter the HW management activities from the current permitted activities. The procedures and capacities will remain equivalent to the current permit. No potential significant impacts will result from the continued operation of this unit.
