Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2017-0362-R1, pursuant to section 1602 of the fish and game code to Mr. James Sproul. The project is limited to six encroachments. One encroachment is for water diversion from an unnamed tributary to the Mad River. Water is diverted for domestic use. Work for this water diversion will include facility retrofit, use and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure. One encroachment is to remove an existing instream pond and install a culvert. Work for this project will include, excavation and restoration of natural stream gradient and replacement with a new properly sized culvert, back filling and rock armoring as necessary. The four other proposed encroachments are to upgrade failing and undersized culverts. Work for these encroachments will include excavation, removal of the failing culverts, replacement with new properly sized culverts, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion.
