Document Description
Sutter Extension Water District is conducting a one-year 2018 Groundwater Substitution Water Transfer Program. SEWD will pump additional 4,540 acre-feet of groundwater from SEWD-owned wells from May through September 2018 to substitute for reduced deliveries of surface water. With 13% streamflow depletion, up to 3,950 af of surface water foregone by SEWD will be made available to Kern County Water Agency and Dudley Ridge Water District during July through September 2018. The DWR will store the transfer water in Lake Oroville and convey the transfer water to KCWA and DRWD between July 1 and September 30.
