The division, has determined that the proposed project is exempt from further environmental review requirements of the CEQA, pursuant to the specified exemptions marked in the section below. The division further finds that the proposed project would not result in a significant adverse impact to the environment, or that any of the exceptions to the exemptions apply.
The proposed project involves abandoning an existing well in a highly-developed existing oil field. The drilling operations will result in only minor alterations to an already densely-developed oil field with negligible impacts to the existing condition of the land.
