Document Description
Caltrans proposes a SB-1 funded hwy maintenance project to restripe 21 miles of Route 140 in Merced County from PM 0.0 to 6.1 and PM 35.8 to 50.3. Construction will occur on paved surfaces within Caltrans right-of-way. The scope of work includes delineating the existing mainline and adjacent intersections with thermoplastic traffic stripe, warranty traffic stripe tape and thermoplastic pavement marking. The purpose of this project is to replace the existing striping so that it meets new striping standards and to rejuvenate existing delineation. The need for this project is to prevent further deterioration of the striping visibility.
