Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2017-0592-R3 , pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the Pacific Gas and Electric Company. Vegetation maintenance work is proposed to support mandated annual gas pipeline inspections. PG&E will remove vegetation at gas pipeline segment L-1818-01 crossing Moore Creek. The project is limited to the removal of three willow trees from the riparian corridor, bed, and banks of Moore Creek. Creation of a temporary 155 ft. by 2-ft wide foot trail is required for access and will generate a secondary impact. The Sum of temporary impacts will be approximately 710 square feet. Work will be completed in 2018 after July 15. The work is expected to require approximately five 10-hour days. The landowner the Santa Cruz Land Trust has agreed to a conditional action plan by PG&E and provided inputs to the Agreement.
