Document Description
The purpose of this project is to reduce resource damage to Upper Sardine Meadow, Lower Sardine Meadow, and Cloudburst Meadow caused by the existence of former OHV routes through the meadows. Work includes decommissioning the former OHV routes by reparing eroding headcuts, gullies and legacy features in three meadow systems to improve hydrologic and meadow function, re-routing 1/4 mile of foot trail out of a wet meadow, and establishing a new trailhead to re-route foot traffic to new trail. The restoration work will affect less than five acres.
