Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2017-0343-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Lake and Game Code to Rosemary Laughlin. The project is limited to use fo an amphibious barge, steel wide flange piling, timber, existing rock; caissons; turbidity curtain, and a crane in order to rebuild the Laughlin Pier that was damaged by a fallen tree. The damaged crib was made of timber which now exist on the lake bottom. Those timbers will be removed. The crib will be repaired by driving in new steel wide flange pilings into it. The pilings will be connected with timber to hold already existing rock. The beams, joists and decking will be replaced per the plans included with the notification. A turbidity curtain and caisson will be installed as necessary. All debris and staging will be contained to the floating amphibious barge. Loading and offloading will take place at Fallen Leaf Lake Marina.
