Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2017-0137-R5, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Kinder Morgan Energy Partners, L.P.
The project proposes to excavate approximately 88 linear feet of streambed to accomodate installation of three 8-foot by 20-foot concrete revetment mats above the exposed pipeline. The mats will be anchored into place by a layer of clean riprap. The banks will be recontoured and widened at existing choke points. An erosion control blanket will be installed over all disturbed areas and the area will be revegetated, if necessary. In addition, approximately 76 linear feet upstream of the mats will need to be excavated to accomodate installation of riprap. Native wetland vegetation will be used on the banks and riprap.
