Document Description
This project consists of the demolition of a manufactured office structure which is currently serving as the Mendicino Unit Resource Management Office. It will be replaced by a new constructed building with a permanent foundation. The site is located on the grounds of the Mendocino Unit Howard Forest Headquarters at 17501 North Hwy 101, Willits, CA 95490. The currebt office building consists of two 13-ft by 66-ft sections fitted together to form a unit, supported by concrete blocks on a leveled pad. A redwood deck is attached to the front portion of the building. The office building was assemble din early 1980s. The building will be mechanically demolisted and debris removed in containers. Once cleared, the pas will be graded and a 30-ft by 60-ft permanent office building will be constructed within the same buiding envelope.
