Document Description
The purpose of this project is to upgrade and add additional obstacles to the existing 4WD Practice Area. The footprint of the 4x4 course will not change, just the addition of obstacles. The area will be broken up into the beginner, intermediate, and advanced user abilities. Each obstacle will be signed with the appropriate name and difficulty level with 4x4 posts augered three feet into the ground. This area has been repeatedly disturbed since the 1940's when the area was farmed and then later utilized as an OHV recreation area. There are no threatened or endangered species in the project location. The project will not change or hinder drainage patterns or increase sediment loss. No vegetation will be removed or harmed for this project. Minimal ground disturbance will occur, additional detailed project information may be requested the project lead agency.
