Document Description
The EAGSA proposes to develop Groundwater Sustainability Plans for the Enterprise and Anderson Subbasins. The plans will be developed using Proposition 1 Sustainable Groundwater Planning Program grant funds administered by the CA DWR. The plans will allow local jurisdictions to develop management strategies that provide for long-term sustainability of the Enterprise and Anderson Subbasins by avoiding conditions that would adversely affect the availability and quality of groundwater in the Redding Area Basin. Work will include public outreach, data collection and analysis, hydrogeologic model development, numerical groundwater flow modeling, water budget development, network development, identification of potential projects and management actions, and plan preparation.
