Caltrans initiated an emergency project on SR-27, at postmiles 1.0 and 1.25 on the bank of Topanga Creek. This is in response to the damage to the existing rock slope protection and highway slope caused by the heavy rain and mud slide that occurred as a result of the storms on March 15 through March 23 2018.
