Caltrans, using state-only funds, is proposing a project to improve sight distance for drivers existing Beegum Gorge Road onto SR 36, at PM 8.8 to PM 9.0, in Shasta County. Currently, the cut bank located adjacent to the east bound lane of SR 36 limits the decision sight distance.
