Document Description
The City of Santa Cruz Water Department is proposing to replace an existing single-lane roadway bridge that crosses the Newell Creek Dam spillway within the property of the Loch Lomond Reservoir Facility. The project includes demolition and removal of the existing bridge and the construction of the replacement bridge at the same location. New piers will be drilled into the rock on either side of the spillway crossing to suppirt the new bridge. Newell Creek Road is restricted to authorized vehicles in this area and the spillway bridge crossing provides access onto the crest of Newell Creek Dam and the western property of the Loch Lomond Reservoir Facility.
