Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife is issuing a permit to the Laguna de Santa Rosa Foundation pursuant to the Fish and Game Code section 2081(a) for a project to restore habitat for Sebastopol meadowfoam through implementation of regular grazing, mowing and invasive species control. In addition, seed will be collected from the Project location and will be bulked in the Laguna de Santa Rosa Foundaton greenhouse in 2018 and 2019. Seed from greenhouse grown plants will be returned to Balletto Field the following summer prior to the onset of the first rains in areas where it previously occurred. Sebastopol meadowfoam will be monitored each spring for a minimum of seven years (2019-2025)
