Document Description
The proposed project would consist of the relocation of the UC San Diego Outback Adventures faiclity. The new Outback Adventures facility would be constructed south of the Spanos Atheletic Training Facility. The new facilities project site is approximately 9,700 sqaure feet (GSF) in size and would include previous pavers, artificial turf, and a 4,100 GSF modular office with outdoor storage space. Outback Adventures relocation is part of an effort to consolidate recreational land uses and services to a more centralized location near RIMAC. Scope of work includes demolition of the existing 4,140 GSF facility located in Pepper Canyon which would require abestos abatement and "safe-off' of utilities. Abatement activities would be managed by EH&S in accordance with all applicable regulations.
