Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteraiton Agreement number 1600-2017-0138-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Glenn County and Public Works Agency. Maintenance work is scheduled to include: removal of accumulated sediments from the stream channel and around man-made structures on the streambanks and within the channel; removal of accumulated debris and trash; removal of beaver dams and lodges impacted stream flows and could potentially result in flooding of roadways or cause damage to structures or increase bank erosion' removal of dead and fallen trees; removal of tree limbs that have broken off or pose a significant risk of breaking and falling into the stream; trimming and maintenance of vegetation within the stream banks, including mowing of herbaceous plants, limbing of trees and shrubs, removing emergenct aquatic vegetation obstructing stream flows and application of appropriate, registered herbicides under a written recommendation issued by a registered pest control advisor; limited on-site disposal of vegetation through brush pile burning; conduct minor erosion control including both repair of existing erosion control structures and placement of new erosion constrol structures...
