Dat-naa-svt is a tribal housing project located on three trust parcels APNs 101-110-09, 101-110-06, 101-110-27 totaling 22.6+/- acres at 13920 to 14000 Ocean View Dr, Smith River. For this HUD grant, the following housing is proposed: two 1-bedroom dwelling units, seven 2-bedroom dwelling units, six 3-bedroom dwelling units, and six 4-bedroom dwelling units. Residential housing is a single-story or double-story, 1,000 - 3,000 sf. Residential structures would be constructed according to governmental ordinances and building codes. Existing utilities have excess capacity and direct service connections to the project parcels. Water supply would be provided by the tribal water supply system, or the Smith River Community Services District. All proposed structures would be served by the Tolowa Dee-ni' Nation's wastewater treatment system. LID features include: permeable pavements; bio-retention; raingardens; rainwater harvesting; vegetated roofs; tree preservation; compost soil amendments; dispersion; and minimal impact grading.
