The project is proposed to develop the city-owned project site into a city of Dixon downtown focal point supporting the vision defined by the local community and other stakeholders targeting the following objectives: develop a city focal point that is realistic, cost effective, innovative; balance function, vision, budget, and maintenance; and design/develop a public space encouraging people to dine, stay, shop, and enjoy the city. The project will include the following amenities: urban OS, parking, low-impact development principles, multi-modal transportation, a special event venue, soundwalls, and associated utilities.
