Document Description
Caltrans proposes a safety improvement project to widen shoulders along three segments of SR 29 in Lake County between PM 17.74 and 17.94, PM 19.30 and 20.19, and PM 20.48 and 20.73. In addition to widening, the project proposes to construct a 12 ft wide northbound truck climbing lane between PM 19.30 and 20.19. The project also proposes to extend and repair existing drainage facilities, install metal beam guardrail, install a continuous count station, overlay the roadway using hot mix asphalt, install centerline and shoulder rumble strips, and install high visibility striping.
