Floriston Property Owners Association proposes to improve its water system through conversion of its treated water storage tank to a raw water settling tank, updates to the interior parts of the existing WTP to include membrane filtration, and the construction of parallel filtered water and treated water pipelines and a new 170,000-gallon treated water tank. The Floriston Spring Filtration Project is proposed as a response to a Nov 4, 2016 letter from the Nevada County Dept of Environmental Health - Small Public Water Systems Program.
