Document Description
This Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR) for the Ocean Ranch Restoration Project (Project) consists of the Draft EIR (DEIR), comments received on the DEIR, the Lead Agency’s responses to comments, and revisions to the DEIR. The DEIR identified the likely environmental consequences associated with the Project, and recommended mitigation measures to reduce potentially significant impacts. To certify the FEIR, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW), as the Lead Agency, must find that: • The FEIR has been completed in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); • The FEIR was presented to the decision making body of the Lead Agency and that the decision making body reviewed and considered the information contained in the FEIR prior to approval of a Project; and • The FEIR reflects the Lead Agency’s independent judgment and analysis. (CEQA Guidelines Section 15090)
