Document Description
The project would install and operate a PV solar power generation facility on 58 acres of undeveloped state-owned land that is within Centinela State Prison. The total system size is expected to be approx. 8 MWac. Project features include installation of single-axis trackers, installation of arrays providing approx 31,494 solar panels, inverters, underground and above-ground conduits, and associated electrical equipment. The ground-mounted solar array would convert sunlight to direct current electrical power which would then be converted to alternating current by string inverters before being delivered to the distribution system.
