Document Description
The project proponent id requesting a Conditional Use Permit to allow for the construction and operation of a 44 megawatt solar photovoltaic electrical generating facility in an A (Exclusive Agricultural) and OS (Open Space) District. Permanent faiclities would include: solar panels; service roads; on-site battery storage system; communication cables; overhead and underground transmission lines; and electrical switchyards; inverters and transformers; on an approximately 339 acre portion of 869 acres of land. Private lands comprise of 94 acres and Bureau of Land management public lands comprise or 244 acres of project. Water for the proposed project is proposed to be trucked from an offsite water purveyor.
