Document Description
City Council approval of two agreements being negotiated currently: 1) fire station purchase and sale agreement; and 2) the authorization for the Mayor to execute the option to purchase agreement for the Torrey Pines Center South; acceptance of funds from UCSD for construction of the fire station, associated site improvements, and off-site/ROW improvements within North Torrey Pines Rd, including utility connections/relocations; approval to add the new fire station at UCSD as a capital improvement project and create a WBS number; approval of a consultant contract for the preparation of bridging documents for the fire station and associated on-site and off-site/ROW improvements so that the project can be put out to bid; approval of a design-build construction contract for fire station and associated on-site and off-site/ROW improvements within North Torrey Pines Rd, including utility connections/relocations to allow for future issuance of Ministerial Construction permits, and future submittal to the Coastal Commission for a coastal development permit in accordance with the State Coastal Act, respectfully the Associated Discretionary Actions.
