Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2017-0566-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Eagle Rock Ranchos Road Association, represented by Ms. Coleen Browder.
Project is limited to one encroachment, and will seek to protect approx. 450 linear feet of eroding bank on the north side of Feliz Creek. A side drainage divides the area into an approx. 300 linear foot upstream (west) section, and an approx. 150 linear foot downstream (east) section. At the upstream (west) limit of the encroachment, three boulder rock vanes will be keyed into the bank and bed, and angled into the creek at a 30 degree angle. They will be approx. 50 feet in length, and spaced 50 feet apart. Approx. 300 feet eroded bank downstream of these vanes may be planted with willow. A similar, but shorter vane (25 feet) will be constructed near the upstream (west) limit of the downstream (east) section. The bank throughout this 150 foot section will be graded back to a 2:1 or greater slope and planted with willow. Work will be conducted when the creek is dry, and vegetative elements will be watered until the start of winter rains.
