Document Description
In order to more effectively capture the costs associated infrastructure shall be installed to accept fees. The project at two campground dump station locations (Green Valley and Paso Picacho) will install a small kiosk approx. 15" x 8" x 50" high and an attached 40" pole with a 18" x 24" solar panel at the top within 4 to 6 feet of the RV dump hole. The kiosk requires a concrete anchor point such as existing sidewalk or concrete area surrounding the RV dump hole or basin. All connections between the locking foot pedal mechanism and the kiosk are wireless requiring no trenching. At Paso Picacho where a concrete anchor point isn't available, a 36"x36" concrete pad will be poured 5" thick using wooden concrete forms. A small amount of soil may be displaced and will be raked out to restore original surface conditions.
