Document Description
The SNC would provide Feather River College with $73,000 to complete CEQA analysis on a 150 acre project on College property. The project will consider activities designed to improve watershed health by hand-thinning existing unhealthy overstocked mixed conifer forestland, chipping and processing biomass, constructing approx. two miles of trail to be used as permanent fire line, and under burning where appropriate. Outcomes for the project include the generation of natural and cultural resource reports, project design and prescriptions, and subsequent completion of CEQA requirements required to initiate watershed improvement projects.
