Document Description
Caltrans proposes a highway maintenance project to restrupe 1.9 miles of State Route 59, in both directions, at post miles 13.8 to 16.3, in Merced County in and near the City of Merced. The scope of work would include restriping the existing mainline with warranty traffic striping, and the existing thermoplastic striping will be removed prior to replacement. Construction would occur on paved surfaces within the State right-of-way. The purpose of the project is to bring the 4" striping up to the current 6" striping standard, and the need of the project is to rejunevate the existing delineation.
