Document Description
Larson Road is part of rural community in the Aptos area of central coastal Santa Cruz County. The road accesses one to two dozen homes and dead ends approximately 1 mile upslope from its intersection with Trout Gulch Road. This project will a provide a secondary emergency access route for residents via an existing rocked road that is currently impassable due to encroaching French broom and coyote brush. Hand crews will cut brush 3 to 6 feet from the edge of both sides of the rocked road and lop cut material to a height of 12 inches or less. It is anticipated the project will be completed in 1 to 2 days.
