- Document Description
- Project consists of removal of dirt from portions of the District's Kimberlina Recharge Facility. The dirt will moved by the CA High Speed Rail Authority's contractor, CA Rail Builders, LLC (HSRA), for use as borrow material on nearby sites where the High Speed Rail (HSR) will be constructed. The Project will benefit the District and its landowners because lowering the bottom of the ponds will allow for continued maximization for groundwater recharge while minimizing the risk of upstream levee failure causing water to escape the ponds and/or damage neighboring agricultural lands.
