Document Description
Caltrans proposes a Highway Maintenance project to replace four culverts within Merced County on State Route 59 at post mile 6.58 and post mile 27.60, and on SR-140 at post mile 9.80 and post mile 46.99. The scope of work includes open trenching, vegetation removal, and culvert replacements in kind. The construction will occur on existing Caltrans right of way. The purpose of this project is to replace damaged or failing culvert facilities. The need for this project is to complete culvert failure and extend the service lives of SR-59 and SR-140.
